CEC 2009

Well, it is that time of year again. Time for the CEA Blog Team to highlight the 2009Christian Education Association Conference in Glen Erie,Colorado, January 18-21. First of all we want to thank Jerry Bowling, Conference Chair,Don Kuhn and Chris Frizzell, Program Chairs and Cecelia Bingham, Site Chair, for putting together what looks like to be a great 48th Conference. Don and Chris have put together an outstanding program that is guaranteed to bless everyone in their ministries.

In the weeks to come the Blog Team will be letting you know more about the conference in hopes that we will have the best turnout ever this year! We don't want anyone to miss this opportunity to be in some of God's most beautiful country and to be refreshed physically, mentally and most importantly spiritually.

Before I close, let me also mention that if you haven't already heard or seen the promos about Fireproof, the new movie from Sherwood Baptist church (the producers of Facing The Giants) then be sure to check out www.fireproofyourmarriage.com. Steve and I went to see it yesterday and it is a good movie about the work God does in restoring the marriage of a firefighter. Kirk Cameron plays the lead role. It is a great resource for any marriages that might be struggling as well as strengthening all of our marriages. I loved that the main message of this movie was that we are able to love others with the love they don't deserve because we are loved with a love we don't deserve. Do I hear an amen?
